Israel’s response to the October 7 Hamas attack is fully justified, according to Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who called Israel a “moral nation.”
Despite the fact that Israel has already bombed 30,000 innocent civilians and counting in its military campaign against Hamas, Kennedy believes that Israel had no other choice but to do it this way.
In Kennedy’s view, Israel has somehow taken the high road in all this – a kinder route, he says, than what any other nation in its position would have done in response to the type of attack Hamas unleashed.
“Any other nation that was adjacent to a neighboring nation that was bombing it with rockets, sending commandos over to murder its citizens, pledging itself to murder every person in that nation and annihilate it, would go and level it with aerial bombardment,” Kennedy said, arguing that Israel is doing something much better than this.
“But Israel is a moral nation. So it didn’t do that. Instead, it built an iron dome to protect itself so it would not have to go into Gaza.”

Kennedy expressed opposition to the Biden regime’s questioning of Israel’s response to the Hamas attack, which has driven most of Gaza’s residents to the southern enclave of Rafah where they are now sitting ducks.
Kennedy says that rather than put pressure on Israel, Biden should be putting pressure on the nations that are speaking up in defense of Gaza and the nightmare its residents are now living at the hands of Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Numerous Jewish officials praised Kennedy for his statements in full favor of Israel, including Democrat-turned-Republican Dov Hikind, a former New York State Assemblyman who founded and now leads the group Americans Against Antisemitism.
Kennedy is losing even more donor and staff member support for these recent statements. A politically left-aligned environmentalist, Kennedy says he stands by Israel and hopes to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict that continues to plague the Middle East.
“There are war crimes recognized by almost every country,” one commenter noted. “The duty of armed forces is to take every precaution to minimize civilian casualties and to avoid war crimes.”
“Cutting off food to Palestinians is a genocidal war crime. Cutting off medicines to Palestinians is a genocidal war crime. Think of all the other heinous genocidal war crimes Israel has committed over the last five months.”
“Israel killed thousands of Gazans before October 7,” wrote another. “Hamas committed some atrocities, but before and since October 7, Israel has committed far, far more atrocities and for five months has committed numerous genocidal war crimes.”
Someone else emphasized that some 25,000 women and children in Gaza have been killed since the start of Israel’s response to the October 7 attack – and these are just the ones we know about who have been included in the official count.
“And this doesn’t even account for the thousands of missing women and children in Gaza who are mostly presumed to be dead and buried under rubble.”
“Hamas committed some atrocities, but these stories of 40 babies beheaded, and babies put in oven, are gross Israeli propaganda,” this person added.
“About 36 children were killed on October 7, and likely many from Israel’s own crossfire when it brought in helicopters and heavy armaments. People need to stop swallowing all of Israel’s inflammatory, hateful, and bizarre propaganda.”
